    • 6 Aug 2024
    • 8:00 AM - 11:30 AM
    • Northland Center - Concourse Level Conference Rooms A and B

One of the biggest challenges in implementing DEIB strategies is dealing with the "Nay-Sayers" - the individuals or groups who resist change and push back against DEIB initiatives. In this program, participants will learn how to identify and engage with the Nay-Sayers, understand their concerns, and develop effective strategies to communicate the need for DEIB initiatives effectively. Through an interactive workshop and group discussion, participants will gain the skills and knowledge needed to navigate the complex landscape of DEIB strategy improvement and get the “Nay-Sayers” to change their tune to say “Yes!”

    Learning Objectives:

    • Gain an understanding of how DEIB has evolved over the years, where we are today, and where it will go for the foreseeable future. Ensure you have a list of what DEIB strategies you want to focus on and plan for with your organization.
    • Identify how your organization may be challenged with DEIB and what hurdles you may face from other stakeholders. Look at how the challenges can be resolved and plan for future discussions around the evolution of DEIB.
    • Engage in interactive networking sessions to connect with HR professionals, DEIB leaders, and change experts. Share experiences, discuss challenges, and build a community focused on leveraging DEIB and Acceptive Culture excellence.
