TCSHRM Cares Web Series: DEIB in the Workplace – Part 3: Function

  • 3 Nov 2020
  • 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM
  • Online – once registered you will receive a Zoom invite

TCSHRM is pleased to announce another TCSHRM Cares Web Series on an important and timely topic– Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) in the Workplace. The workplace has tremendous potential to manifest the social change essential for our Twin Cities community to rise above racial bias and social injustice. Our organizations rely on us to lead the charge as change agents against workplace bias.

Do you feel equipped to lead and support Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) initiatives in your organization? Do you have the right tools, terminologies, techniques, and support to be a core influencer? This three-part virtual series will prepare you to lead the cause.

How do you create organizational change? It can be challenging to accomplish because of varying opinions from leaders, employees, customers, and external audiences. All of these stakeholders impact your organization's success. This webinar will help you understand how to change and implement a holistic DEIB strategy. It will be a balanced approach to all of the company's influences: learning to improve policies, processes, and procedures and providing best practices to leadership and employees. You will leave with a flight plan and strategic direction of where your organization should go.

During this live online event, you will learn:

  • How structural racism functions and how to uncover it
  • How to integrate DEIB change efforts into your company’s marketplace, community and workforce
  • How to implement a DEIB Strategic Map addressing internal and external stakeholders and dynamics
