*Room will be reserved at Mystic Lake for the evening of Monday, October 11th. The hotel confirmation will be emailed separately from the conference registration.

+ The Student Rate is available for attendees who are enrolled as full-time undergraduate students with a major in an HR field of discipline. This rate is not available for adult-learners seeking out higher-education degrees. If you have questions about your eligibility for this rate, please contact our office.

++ The virtual experience will be a live stream of the all three keynote speakers and 8 breakout sessions that are scheduled in the main ballroom (Track 1). This is an incredible value with some of the best speakers in the industry. The MN SHRM leadership team is closely monitoring developments with the COVID-19 pandemic. We will be following any guidance provided by the Center of Disease Control, Minnesota Department of Health and our event host Mystic Lake Casino and Event Center.  Attendees who register before September 30th will receive a $25 electronic gift card to use for purchasing food during the event. This gift card will be sent out prior to the start of the conference.

SHRM/HRCI Recertification Information
The 2021 State Conference is approved for eleven certification credits for the SHRM-SCP/SHRM-PC and the HRCI SPHR/PHR. We have submitted four breakout sessions for HRCI business credit which has not yet been approved. We will publish an update as it becomes available.

MNSHRM 2021 State Conference COVID-19 Statement
Minnesota SHRM is excited to be able to offer an in-person conference experience again in 2021.  However, we recognize the ongoing issues with the COVID-19 Pandemic, and we are making every effort to provide both an effective and safe experience for everyone.  Therefore, by attending the 2021 Annual Conference, you agree that you are (1) not symptomatic for any respiratory infection; and (2) have not knowingly been exposed to COVID-19 or diagnosed with COVID-19 within the past (10) day period.  While participating in the Conference, and consistent with CDC guidelines, participants are encouraged to practice hand hygiene, social distancing and utilize face coverings where possible to reduce the risk of exposure to COVID-19.   

Because COVID-19 is contagious and is spread mainly through person-to-person contacts, MN SHRM has put in place preventative measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19.  However, MN SHRM cannot guarantee that it’s participants, volunteers and sponsors will not become infected with or exposed to COVID-19.  Participants acknowledge that by attending the MN SHRM Conference on October 11 and October 12, 2021, acknowledge that they waive any rights against MN SHRM, its officers, affiliates, volunteers, sponsors, and contractors regarding any COVI-19 related incident, infection, illness, or other complication.

National SHRM Membership - Save $$$$
Current SHRM members save at least $100 on registration by using the SHRM Member vs Non-SHRM Member rates above! If you would like to save money on your conference registration, become a National SHRM member NOW, so you will qualify for the SHRM Member rate.

Cancellations and Refunds
Refund requests must be received by September 15, 2021. Registrants who want to change rate structure (i.e. in-person to virtual) after September 15th will not receive a refund for any rate difference. Registrations cancelled after September 15th will be rolled over to the 2022 State Conference. There are no refunds to registrants who do not cancel prior to the start date of the conference. Notification of cancellation must be sent to our office by September 15, 2021. 

Image Permissions
The Minnesota State SHRM Council (MNSHRM) reserves the right to use any photograph or video taken at any event sponsored by Minnesota State SHRM Council (MNSHRM), without the expressed written permission of those in the photograph or video.

Printed Materials and Conference Bags
MNSHRM is committed to keeping our conference as green as possible and will not be providing conference bags. We will also be limiting use of excessive paper by offering electronic conference materials such as the conference schedule, speaker information, accommodation and travel information and other resources on our conference app, Whova. Please consider accessing information electronically before printing. We appreciate your efforts towards keeping the conference green as well!
